About Us
The Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission is a public body which was established in April 1999 by an Act of Parliament to review potential miscarriages of justice in criminal cases in Scotland and refer appropriate cases to the High Court for an appeal.
Past Cases
When we believe there may have been a miscarriage of justice, and it is in the interests of justice to do so, we can refer cases to the High Court for consideration. Here you will find details of cases that we have referred to the High Court along with any judgments issued by the Court.
